Tillery Charter Academy PTO Staff Member of the Year 2025–2026 Leslie King
Tillery Charter Academy PTO is proud to recognize Leslie King as our 2025–2026 Staff Member of the Year.
Since the day our school opened its doors, Mrs. King has been an integral part of our school family and a cornerstone of our kindergarten program. Her passion for teaching, unwavering dedication, and genuine love for her students are evident in everything she does. As a kindergarten teacher, she does far more than teach letters, numbers, and academic skills—she helps build confidence, nurtures curiosity, dries tears, celebrates milestones, and creates a safe and welcoming environment where young learners can thrive.
Mrs. King understands that kindergarten is often a child’s first school experience, and she works tirelessly to ensure that each student feels valued, supported, and loved. The impact she makes extends far beyond a single school year. One of the most heartwarming sights at Tillery Charter Academy is seeing former students stop by her classroom each day just to give her a hug. These daily visits are a testament to the special bonds she creates with every child who walks through her doors.
Her influence reaches generations of students, leaving lasting memories and shaping young lives in meaningful ways. Through her kindness, patience, and commitment to excellence, Mrs. King embodies the very best of what it means to be an educator.
