The first responders did everything they could to keep Tyler stable long enough to get him transported to the location to meet the helicopter. I've since spoken to friends that were working the ER that night and have been told they were prepped and ready for his arrival that night at moore regional, but they were already aware that the flight was just a last ditch effort for the family of Tyler and they didn't expect him to make the short trip from Spies rd to Moore Regional Hospital. He wasn't expected at all to make the flight to UNC.
