It’s looking like we’re just about through the recent heatwave and we’re looking forward to tomorrow being a bit cooler than last week! We’ve got MahaVia providing the music! We’ve had an abundance of new vendor applications in the last two weeks with a handful of new vendors having already started setting up, so stay on the lookout for new vendors and new items as we’re getting close to a bit of our seasonal reset with the worst of the hot days behind us and some of our longtime regulars returning!

It’s hard to believe the weekend is already right around the corner! We’re going to be having a great market day tomorrow in the Vista Park. Yolanda with Beatriz’s Dates is back to having fresh dates already with a harvest that came a few weeks earlier in the year than normal! We’ve got cowboy singer Johnny Bencomo providing the musical entertainment and our vendor lineup is back on the rise after a summer lull fighting hot days and monsoon rains impacting many of our off grid farmers and artists. Come on out from 9:00-1:00 to enjoy the day and remember to wish Rickie we’ll do his last market/birthday!

It’s a bittersweet weekend this week. Rickie has been on of the longtime vendors at the various iterations of the Bisbee markets. He’s decided it’s time to move onto the next chapter of his life and is retiring from doing farmer’s markets. In the last two years, Rickie has missed only one market and he’s consistently been one of our friendliest and most helpful vendors. In addition to this being his last week, it’s also his birthday weekend, so come on out on Saturday to wish him well and get some fresh salsa while you still can!

We’ve been wanting to find ways to showcase more of our young, local talent and we can’t wait to yield the stage to these two!
