Because someone chose to invest in opportunity, Ja’Kari had the chance to grow into a young man marked by love, leadership, and a heart for others.

Since joining Cornerstone in 6th grade, he has learned to lead, encourage those around him, and face challenges with faith. One of his proudest moments was leading chapel for the first time, a reflection of the courage and confidence he has developed.

Next, Ja’Kari plans to attend the University of Kansas to study mechanical engineering and minor in law.

Amilyah joined Cornerstone in 4th grade and has grown into a leader who values hard work, organization, and believing in herself. This fall, she will attend The University of Alabama and pursue a place in the Dean's Scholars Nursing Program after earning a Presidential Scholarship.

Because someone chose to redirect their Alabama state taxes, LaKyndal had the opportunity to pursue her dreams.

Since joining Cornerstone in 8th grade, she has grown into a young woman grounded in faith, perseverance, and purpose. This fall, she will attend The University of Texas at Dallas to study psychology as she works toward a career as a forensic psychotherapist.
