Keep Christmas Alive Reclaiming Christmas, Proclaiming the birth of Christ, and Proving that traditional sacred Christmas music is joyful, festive and fun for the whole family!

After seven consecutive years of Christmas concerts in Huntsville, the eighth annual Keep Christmas Alive concert will move to Birmingham in 2014, following the move to the Birmingham area of founding organizer and promoter Brice Marsh. The family-oriented concert, which was held in Huntsville from 2005 through 2011, emphasizes a love of traditional Christmas music, Southern gospel and a message o

f proclaiming the joy of “Merry Christmas” to all. Already booked for the Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, Keep Christmas Alive concert, which will be performed in the Leslie Wright Arts Center at Samford University, are the Booth Brothers, a Southern gospel trio that’s won Absolutely Gospel Music Awards for Trio of the Year, Male Group of the Year, Best Live Performer of the Year and Song of the Year. Also committed for Nov. 22, 2014, are the Voices of Lee. The Voices of Lee is a 16-member a ca****la choir from the Cleveland, Tenn. Lee University that has achieved national acclaim. They have performed on “Good Morning America” and sung for Christmas programs at the White House, singing with skill that has won them commendation from the Contemporary A Ca****la Society of America. Also appearing in the lineup for this program will be the Redemption Road Quartet; Bob Smith, vocalist; Frank Jones, pianist; Edie Hand, Story Teller; and Austin Foster, young singer. All in all, it promises to be a very uplifting and inspirational program!
