💚 Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out this past Saturday for our Community Clean-Up of the Avondale Entertainment District — you all ROCK!! 🙌 Your energy and hard work made such a big difference, and we couldn’t do it without amazing volunteers like YOU.

Special shoutout to our friends at Avondale Brewing Co. for showing major love with their awesome door prize 🎟️ (a pair of tickets to an upcoming show!), plus free pizza + beer coupons for volunteers. 🍕🍺 Y’all went above and beyond!

And a big thanks to Domestique Coffee for keeping our crew caffeinated with free coffee. ☕ We are so grateful for your generosity!

Members and prospects: please join us Sunday, April 29 at 12 in the rose garden for our annual spring picnic sponsored by Blazer Sports Properties and Greg Wheeler. Jimmy John’s will be provided for current members and for new members who join the Friends of Avondale Park. Membership is only $25 to $40 and is good for one year. We need your help! In order to keep the pond clean and free of algae overgrowth, we need corporate sponsors or donors to meet the cost of the treatments. Treatments cost 1k per month and have to be discontinued due to lack of funding. Help us keep your neighborhood park appealing!
