LGBTQ Fund Cultivating one community that supports LGBTQ individuals and families in our 5 county region

The mission of the LGBTQ Fund is to cultivate one community that supports le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning individuals and families with the belief that all people should be treated with equal respect and dignity in a welcoming and affirming community. The focus of the fund will be to support projects and programs which satisfy one or more of the following outcomes (includ

ing but not limited to):
◾Strengthen the infrastructure of LGBTQ-led and –serving organizations;
◾Support the provision of services to the youth, individuals and families who identify as LGBTQ according to best practice standards;
◾Provide educational opportunities that highlight the need for and benefit from equitable treatment of LGBTQ individuals and families;
◾Advance networking and foster collaboration between LGBTQ related organizations and other community organizations; and
◾Support nonprofit partners working on public policy and the intersection of LGBTQ concerns and other social justice issues.
