Research is clear 📚✨ Just having books in the home is one of the strongest predictors of a child’s academic success. Access to books is directly linked to higher educational attainment — regardless of parental background. Today, over 350 students received 10 books to begin / add to their very own, “First Library” at home!

Access matters. Exposure matters. Books matter. 🥰📚

Thank you Councilor Clinton Woods for partnering with us once again for our annual “First Library” distribution. Because of your continued support, more than 350 students received a gift that will last a lifetime — the gift of literacy. Hearing a child excitedly say, “This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen!” filled our hearts with joy and even brought tears to our eyes. Our children are absolutely worth the investment!
