Tropical Storm Isaias is heading towards Alabama. If you or someone you love has type 1 diabetes, now is the time to prepare.

Breakthrough T1D and other leading diabetes organizations have joined forces through the Diabetes Disaster Response Coalition (DDRC) to make sure people with diabetes have the support, insulin, and supplies they need before a major storm hits.

The DDRC urges everyone with type 1 diabetes, and their loved ones, in vulnerable areas to put together a diabetes kit and a plan to stay safe.
