We held an engaging and informative meeting this past Saturday. We spoke about Digital Safety that included topics such as sexting and sextortion.

Through a video presentation and group discussion, we identified the red and green flags in online communication. We learned that while the internet offers enjoyment, it also harbors potential dangers. Not everyone we encounter online is trustworthy.

Special thanks to our guest speaker, Ms. Pam Stack from United Way of East Central Alabama. Ms. Stack serves as the Outreach Coordinator for United Way's Anti-Trafficking Initiative.

To explore the subject of digital safety further, we encourage you to read more by following this link: Digital Safety – Childrens Trust Fund (alabama.gov)
