Today we are grateful to the Avondale Library and Wendy the librarian. We are recipients of their food drive in September. They allow patrons to cover their overdue books fines by donating non-perishable food! We received 5 boxes of wonderful food we will give to families in need. Thank you!

🚌 A simple way to make a big difference

For many of our neighbors, getting a job isn't the hard part — getting there is. Without reliable transportation, even a great job can slip away. A bus pass can be the difference between keeping a job and losing one.

Want an easy, meaningful way to help? Purchase a MAX transit pass and drop it off at ASP — it goes directly to a neighbor who needs it to get to work.

Standard adult fares:
🎫 One-day pass — $3.50
🎫 Two-week pass — $26.50
🎫 Monthly pass — $53

Pick up passes at any local MAX transit center, then bring them by Avondale Samaritan Place. Every pass helps someone stay employed and independent. 💛
