We were ready to roll this Sunday, but Mother Nature has other plans! 🌧️

Due to the anticipated severe weather associated with Hurricane Isaias, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Buddy Bowl Inclusive Playdate.

The safety of our families, volunteers, and community partners will always come first!

But don’t put those bowling shoes away just yet! 🎳 We’re not canceling the fun, just pressing pause!

We’re working to secure a new date and will share updates as soon as details are confirmed.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Stay safe, Wildflower Family! We can’t wait to get everyone back together for some strikes, spares, and inclusive fun!

So much of what happens at The Wildflower Alliance has Brittany’s fingerprints on it. From helping turn big ideas into thoughtful, intentional experiences to strengthening the systems, research, and planning behind our work, she has been an integral part of TWA’s growth.

But beyond what she does, we celebrate who she is—someone who leads with heart, shows up for our families, believes deeply in this mission, and continues to pour her gifts into helping us build something meaningful for the disability community.

Birmingham, you showed up!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Rojo for our Dine to Donate Night!

Whether you came by and ate with us, grabbed a to-go order, or simply showed your support, we thank you. Because of you, together we raised $700 for The Wildflower Alliance!

Every dollar helps us continue creating inclusive experiences, meaningful connections, respite, and support for families raising children with disabilities.

🎳 We’re rolling into our next Inclusive Playdate! 🎳

Join The Wildflower Alliance for Buddy Bowl, an afternoon of bowling, connection, and inclusive fun for children with and without disabilities.

Our Inclusive Playdates are designed so kids of all abilities can play, connect, and simply enjoy being kids—together. Families, come bowl with us. Volunteers, come help us create the kind of experience every child deserves.

🎪 We believe Birmingham has the opportunity to become a model for what truly inclusive community can look like — and it takes intentional partnership to make that vision possible.

We’re incredibly grateful to our co-host, Birmingham Park & Recreation, alongside partners like Lakeshore Foundation, Hallmark Nissan Birmingham, and District 3 Councilor Josh Vasa for helping bring the Buddy Big Top Carnival to life.

Together, we are building more than an event. We are bringing together community leaders, organizations, businesses, advocates, and families to create spaces where children with and without disabilities can participate fully, families feel welcomed and supported, and accessibility is considered from the very beginning.

Because of these partnerships, families will experience:
