🎉 Happy New Year from the Fraternal Order of Police 🎉

As we step into a new year, we want to thank every officer for the sacrifices you continue to make long nights, missed holidays 🎄, and the weight that comes with this profession . If that weight ever becomes too heavy, remember the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 1 is just a call away.

A special thank you to the officers who worked New Year’s Eve and brought in the New Year on duty dodging bullets 😂😂😂 and then going right back to answering calls 🚓💨. While others rang in the new year with their loved ones, you held the line and kept the cities and county standing. That does not go unnoticed.

The new year isn’t about resolutions it’s about resolve.
Showing up when it’s dangerous. Doing the job the right way. Having each other’s backs when it counts.

Change will come. Challenges will come.
What won’t change is the dedication of the men and women who continue to answer the call.

Stay safe 🧠. Stay sharp. Take care of yourselves and your families ❤️.

Happy New Year

As you’re out enjoying the holidays with family, just remember the officer you see out and about has probably been running call to call all day.
Holidays are fun for most folks… but they can be some of the busiest, most stressful days in this line of work.

If you see him, thank him.
If you see her, thank her.

A simple “Hey, we appreciate you” goes farther than you think.
While the world gathers around the table, they’re out here keeping the peace so everyone else can gather safely.

Stay safe, and show love to the ones holding the line.

Thanks to a $150,000 federal grant, the FOP can continue to support the Blue Alert program, which helps quickly notify the public when officers are in danger. Inspired by the tragic loss of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, Blue Alerts are sent out via TV, radio, cell phones, and highway signs, ensuring swift action and community support in critical situations.
This grant will allow the FOP to enhance the program, expanding its reach to more law enforcement agencies, states, and territories, ensuring the safety of officers nationwide.
