I remember Ronnie…
Not a post I wish to make but needs to be done. Last night we lost a big member of our West Stanly and Endy community. Anything needed he was first to volunteer. He held many roles mainly coach. As a coach he influenced and led the girls to love the game more than they already did. He raised his kids to enjoy the game and supported his grandchildren when they were old enough. One of biggest fans in the stands. He didn’t care if won only cared if had fun. He was big help to Endy Optimist and West as a hold. When we held the Darlings World Series his name went on the list first to be host family and help teams traveling from other states. He was guided by his faith and by his love of human race. Never a selfish gesture made, always thinking of others or what they needed. I saw him at NorthEast not long after diagnosed, he told me what was going on but they very next words he told me were “Pray for me but more for my family, I will be ok but they will need prayers. My Lord has me”. Even with grim diagnosis he was thinking of his family more than himself and his circumstances
Please in days to come keep Ronnie Dry and his family in your hearts and in your prayers. He deserve all the respect we have to give.
