First, thank you for being with us. On behalf of our CEO Andre McFadden, our dedicated Board of Directors, and the entire Gaston family, we are deeply grateful for your presence here in Birmingham—a city rich in history, legacy, and the relentless pursuit of progress.
It was truly an honor to host this gathering, where we brought together two powerful missions rooted in equity, empowerment, and the unwavering belief that every individual deserves a real opportunity to thrive.
The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF)—the nation’s largest minority healthcare research, education, and advocacy organization—continues to lead boldly in the effort to reduce patient risk and advance health equity. We are proud to now call them partners in purpose.
By joining hands with the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club, where we inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential, NMQF has helped spark a powerful convergence of values, vision, and shared impact.
This moment is more than a collaboration—it’s a continuation of a legacy. A legacy built by Dr. A.G. Gaston, a pioneer who used his influence and resources to uplift communities, build institutions, and open doors that had long been closed.
That NMQF would choose to amplify its mission by aligning with an organization grounded in Dr. Gaston’s legacy is not just fitting—it’s inspiring. Together, we stand on a foundation built for community to gather, grow, and lead.
While we come from different sectors—healthcare, youth development, and economic empowerment—we are united by our shared commitment to equity and justice… and, yes, a mutual love of the color blue.
So again, thank you for coming.
Thank you for believing in this moment.
And thank you for committing to the work ahead.
Let’s build something transformative—together.
