The Guild Officers Installation Luncheon was held at the beautiful home of Becky Keyes. We are so very lucky to have Stephanie Byrne serving as our new President and so many fantastic ladies on her Board. Next year promises to be terrific! It cannot be said enough that Fran Howard will be greatly missed in her role but will likely enjoy her retirement!

What a wonderful meeting we had Friday! We heard the slate of new officers for next year and were then entertained by beautiful young voices! The treble choir, Ensemble, from Vestavia Hills High School performed for us under the direction of Cara Thomas. Many thanks to them! Also thanks to our programs chair! Speaking of the new officers, we will all be saying this from now until the installation luncheon: huge thank yous to Fran Howard for everything. Fran, you are fantastic!

The next big event is our raison d’etre, the scholarship competition! 6th VP, Phyllis Pelham has been hard at work organizing another fabulous day. If you’re on the committee, be sure to sign up for a shift or other support opportunity for the competition on Saturday March 7, 2026.

The Guild had the pleasure of hosting the Pinson Valley High School Mariachi Band—the only mariachi band in the state of Alabama. Their performance was truly delightful. We wish these talented students continued success as they inspire others to explore this vibrant genre of music and bring joy to audiences wherever they perform.

Your current Executive Board hard at work this afternoon! We hope to see everyone Friday at the membership meeting!
