🎃 Happy Halloween from the Cahaba River 🦇 We were treated to a spooky surprise on Sunday—a bat waking up to take a few sips of water and fly through the trees.

Alabama is home to 16 different species of bats and they play a vital role in our ecosystem—they are on nightshift insect control eating thousands of bugs each night 🦇✨
