The link below states that as construction workers we are eligible to receive the Covid vaccine on March 22nd. Supplies are limited in several counties especially the Huntsville area. Neighboring counties will be the fastest option for those wanting the vaccine.

Those currently eligible for vaccine in Alabama are healthcare providers, nursing home residents, law enforcement officers, firefighters, persons age 65 and older, and additional groups of critical workers.

Today was her last day at Local 48 as office secretary. We want to wish her a long and healthy retirement and thank her for 15 yrs of service here in the Birmingham office.

Brothers and Sisters,
I was just given the heartbreaking news that our dear Bro Jim Rombokus passed away today . He was in a bad car wreck last week. He was a great sheet metal worker, a great man period. One of my favorites for sure, meet him on my first day back in 90 at UAH, we were working for Pappas. Truly one of the finest men I have ever known, he will be missed by many. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
I will post arrangements when they become available.
