Today, the Southern Area of The Links, Incorporated pauses to honor the life and enduring legacy of the Reverend Jesse Jackson — minister, activist, statesman, and champion for justice. 🕯️💚

From his work with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference to founding the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, he challenged America to live up to its highest ideals of fairness and inclusion. His life’s work reminds us that advocacy is not optional — it is essential. Progress requires persistence. Change requires courage. And justice requires all of us.

In the Southern Area, where his story began, may we continue to organize, educate, serve, and lead — ensuring that the path he helped pave becomes a highway for future generations.
