Die Veranstaltung wird von Dr. Angela Ferguson moderiert. Angela ist Vorstandsmitglied der AlabamaGermany Partnership und verbrachte ihre frühen Jahre in Kaiserslautern. Später lebte sie in Berlin und Greifswald, und verbrachte einige Zeit in Bamberg. Ihre Tätigkeit an der Samford University begann sie als Dozentin im Fachbereich Deutsch; sie engagiert sich leidenschaftlich für das Bildungswesen sowie die Vermittlung von deutscher Sprache und Literatur. Heute ist Angela Leiterin des Academic Success Centers an der Samford University in Birmingham.

Come join us for networking at AGP "Stammtisch" and a German Dinner on Tuesday, September 1 in Huntsville.

This is always a fun, relaxed networking event, plus it is a great opportunity for German expats to meet and for others to practice their German. Speaking German is not required.

Monika Müller at the Nook will serve Chicken Cordon Bleu, Sauerkraut, and Potatoes. A cordon bleu consists of a thin cutlet of meat (typically veal, chicken, or pork) that is pounded thin, stuffed with ham and cheese, rolled, then breaded and pan-fried or deep-fried. German (Swiss) dinner must be preordered by Friday, Aug. 28 at noon. Please note that the fee includes one dinner, tax, and gratuities. Beverages of your choice can be purchased separately. You can also choose not to preorder dinner and order from the menu on the day of the event (please note that the German dinner plate will not be available on the menu).
