Greater Alabama Council has a few more slots for Venture Crew that just opened up for Jamboree 2017. If you are interested in a slot, please contact Daniel Giles at [email protected]

We will have two parent meetings coming up:
- Huntsville on Thursday, January 19, 6:30 PM, 1st Baptist Church, Student Center, use the NorthWest Entrance on St. Claire St.
- Birmingham on Thursday, January 26, 6:30 PM, Charles T. Clayton Scout Service Center (Scout Office) Liberty Park.

If you are interested in one of the slots that just opened up. Please come to the parent meeting.

Greater Alabama Council Jamboree Fee Schedule
• $100.00 non-refundable, but transferable, a deposit is due upon registration.
• $500.00 minimum due within two weeks of registration.
• $500.00 minimum due on or before March 1, 2017.
• $500.00 minimum due on or before May 1, 2017.

Greater Alabama Council VOA will be having it’s first meeting of the year at First United Methodist Church in Cullman on Sunday, Aug 16th 2:00pm. We will be discussing ILSC and other events for the Council.

All Crew Presidents are encouraged to attend or call in (teleconference number will be sent out tomorrow) or send a designee from the Crew. We also need to fill a few more officer positions. Please contact Caroline Dewberry at [email protected] if you are interested.


VOA meetings will be on the 3rd Sunday of the month in Cullman unless stated otherwise. September’s meeting will be held at 9:30am at Camp Comer after ILSC.
