What a blessing it was to receive the Word from Chris Binkley this morning!
Chris is a graduate of The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC), and today we had the privilege of hearing him share God’s Word! His journey is a powerful reminder that God doesn’t just restore lives—He gives them purpose and calls us to something greater! ❤️
On this Candidates Sunday, we celebrate the incredible ways God is raising up people to answer His call and serve His Kingdom.

The Salvation Army of Birmingham is hiring! We're looking for someone to help bring Angel Tree and our holiday programs to life for thousands of local families.

In this role, you'll recruit, screen, and train our Christmas volunteers, then lead them at our office and the Angel Tree Warehouse, where the magic really happens. ❤️

📌 Position: Seasonal Volunteer Coordinator
💵 $17/hr | Seasonal, full-time, onsite
🎓 Degree or equivalent experience welcome

Life doesn't come with guarantees, but this promise is one we can hold onto. God doesn't send us into the unknown alone. He goes with us, every step, every season, every struggle.

And where His presence is, rest follows, not the absence of hardship, but the peace of knowing we're not carrying it by ourselves.
