Magic City Sports Academy

Magic City Sports Academy Teaching the FUNdamentals of Sports! The foundation of the academy is a commitment to teaching fundamental sports skills development and knowledge of the game.

An equally important goal of the organization is to develop character, teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun environment. With a talented, experienced, and dedicated roster of volunteer coaches, the Sports Academy will enhance sporting experiences and love for the game in an environment of positive reinforcement and fun. The academy offers sport teams, individual training, and participation in sport

camps and related activities. Dedicated to continuing education plans are in place to provide instructional classes and seminars for participants. The academy also has the privilege of uniting culturally diverse groups with the common goal of competing, learning and socializing. This aids in accomplishing the program’s ultimate goal which is to help instill in our youth the vital importance of hard work, fair play and racial equality. Another very valuable asset is the positive interaction that the academy will have with local schools, neighborhoods, colleges, city management and the business community.

⚾️💚🧡 FREE YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP TODAY! 🧡💚⚾️

Looking for something fun, active, and educational for your child this summer? Bring them out to the 1st Annual Vikings Baseball Camp for an afternoon of learning, teamwork, and community!

🏟️ Open to boys and girls ages 6–12 📅 Sunday, May 31, 2026 ⏰ 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM 📍 Baseball Field

Participants will receive: ⚾ Baseball instruction and skill development ⚾ Fun drills and games ⚾ Positive mentorship and coaching 🌭 FREE Hotdogs & Chips

This camp is designed to help young athletes build confidence, learn the fundamentals of baseball, and have fun in a safe and encouraging environment.

This family-friendly event will include:

The 2026 Kids & Jobs Program is accepting applications starting March 16th and this is exactly the kind of opportunity our young people deserve!

💰 Earn $11 to $14 per hour
⏰ 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 5 weeks
📝 Applications open March 16th to April 17th
🗓️ Program runs June 8th to July 10th, 2026

This program has been connecting Birmingham youth with real professional experience for over 30 years. Do not sleep on it!
