Activity Day is one of the most anticipated days of the month for our sponsored children at African Children’s Mission! ❤️
Think of it as a mini Vacation Bible School (VBS), where children come together to learn about God's Word, sing songs of worship and praise, play games, build friendships, and enjoy special treats like snacks and juice!
But Activity Day is about so much more than just having fun.
Each month, our ACM social workers gather with the sponsored children at the schools they serve, creating opportunities for discipleship, evangelism, encouragement, and personal care. For children who already know Christ, it's a time to grow in their faith and understanding of Scripture. For others, it's an opportunity to hear the Gospel and learn about the love of Jesus.
These gatherings also give our social workers valuable time to connect with the children, offer guidance and counseling, encourage them through life's challenges, and remind them that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten.
For many of these children, Activity Day is a special occasion they eagerly look forward to each month. It's a day filled with laughter, friendship, learning, and joy — all centered around sharing the love of Christ.
