We are building more than a kitchen. We are building opportunity. Through the INSPIRE campaign, we’re creating resources to support Birmingham’s growing culinary-entrepreneur community.

This future space will provide:

🔸Access to a shared commercial kitchen.
🔸Training to refine skills and scale operations.
🔸Business development resources to build sustainable ventures.

INSPIRE represents a strategic investment in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of our local economy. The vision is clear: empower creators, strengthen businesses, and reimagine what is possible.

Strong businesses need more than funding. They need the right environment to grow. At Urban Impact, we support both people and place through initiatives like the Birmingham Community Impact Fund (BCIF) and 4th Avenue Forward.

Here is how we are making an impact:

🔹BCIF provides low-interest microloans and technical assistance to help entrepreneurs move forward

🔹4th Avenue Forward focuses on revitalizing the Historic 4th Avenue Business District through real estate activation, small business support, and cultural preservation

Together, these efforts help create a thriving ecosystem where businesses can start, grow, and belong. Learn more about how we are investing in Birmingham: https://urbanimpactbirmingham.org/

A new chapter is taking shape in Birmingham. Through our INSPIRE campaign, we are transforming a long-vacant property into something powerful: the Culinary Training Kitchen Incubator (CTKI).

This future space will be more than a kitchen. It will be a launchpad for food-based entrepreneurs across our community.

Here is what CTKI will offer:

🔹Shared commercial kitchen space.
🔹Hands-on culinary training.
🔹Business development support.
🔹Tools to help entrepreneurs build sustainable ventures.

This is a long-term investment in people, possibilities, and the future of Birmingham’s small business landscape. We are building pathways for entrepreneurs to grow, create, and thrive right here at home.
