We are excited to share another update from Anchor of Hope Charities on the progress of the new dining hall and kitchen in Monze, Zambia, Africa.

Construction is moving forward, and it's incredible to see this vision coming to life. This space will soon serve 455 children who attend school in this area. (Although I've been informed that the children are so excited that they could not wait for the formal opening to have their lunch in their new dining hall!)

We are grateful for the team that has come together to build this facility. And we are tremendously proud of the school staff and teachers who are managing these efforts!

🌍 Update from Monzi, Zambia! 🇿🇲

We are so excited to share progress on the construction of the new dining hall and kitchen in Monzi! What began as a vision is quickly becoming a reality.

The foundation has been laid, walls are going up, and you can truly see the structure beginning to take shape. This space will soon serve as a safe, welcoming place where children can gather daily for warm, nourishing meals.

Every brick represents hope. Every step forward reminds us that this project is not just about a building — it’s about dignity, health, and opportunity for the children we serve.

Project Update from Monzi, Zambia 🇿🇲 Africa

We are excited to share meaningful progress from Monzi, Zambia!

Construction is moving forward on the new dining hall and kitchen that will serve children in this rural community. What began as a vision is now becoming a structure that will soon provide daily meals, nourishment, and a safe gathering place for students.

Each brick laid represents hope. Each wall raised brings us closer to ensuring children have consistent access to food while they pursue their education.

This kitchen will support our growing food program, helping us serve more children efficiently and with dignity. The impact will be felt not only in full stomachs, but in improved concentration, health, and opportunity.

We are deeply grateful to every donor and supporter who continues to make this possible. Your generosity is building more than a facility — it is building futures.

Dear Anchor of Hope Charities Donors,

Thank you for your generous support, which enabled us to ship a full semi-container of food to Zambia, Africa. This shipment arrived just in time to support 2,524 children in K-7 attending the following schools: Choma Basic, Roma, Kalindi Village, George Community, Chainda, Natemwa Learning Center (Kathy's place!), Twiza, Hope, and Taonga Schools.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Ashley Benge, COO at ., for her tireless fundraising efforts to make this food shipment possible.

We are finally on our way back to Zambia to start up where we left off prior to COVID. Many of the children in our programs, now adults ready to pay it forward. We are anxious to meet with all of these grown children and discuss our goals for the future. Stay tuned as we land in this great country on Wednesday 6th September!
