💚🐉 Good Deeds, BIG Impact! 🐉💚

A HUGE thank you to the UAB Department of Psychology for their incredible generosity during their Good Deed Day event! Through their efforts, they collected and donated over 25 pounds of personal hygiene items to Blazer Kitchen! In addition, 19 department members volunteered their time to help us continue providing essential resources to UAB students in need.

Your kindness, teamwork, and dedication to serving others truly demonstrate the power of our Blazer community! We are so grateful for your contributions and commitment to making a difference. Thank you for helping us support student well-being, one good deed at a time! 💚

💚🌶️ A HUGE Thank You to UAB Advancement! 🌶️💚

UAB Advancement brought the flavor AND the generosity to Blazer Kitchen! Through their Spice Rack Spice Drive, they collected and donated an incredible 30 pounds of spices to help UAB students add more variety and flavor to their meals. On top of that, seven Advancement team members volunteered their time at Blazer Kitchen to support our mission of fighting food insecurity!

We are so grateful for your generosity, teamwork, and dedication to giving back to our Blazer community. Thank you for making a difference both through your donations and your willingness to serve. Together, we’re making our campus a stronger, more supportive place, one Blazer at a time! 💚🐉

We want to thank Sophie and Abigail, our Nutrition Interns from Samford, for all of their hard work this past semester. They helped design the new Diet Sheet in our order form packet. This tool allows shoppers to better understand what they are selecting and how it aligns with their dietary needs.

Great news! We now have a refrigerator and freezer in the lobby to store more fresh and frozen items. Everything at Blazer Kitchen is free, but this grab-and-go area is full of items that don’t count towards the weight of a shopping order. Shoppers are welcome to take these items in addition to their shopping order! 🔥💚💛
