Thank You, Jesus, for moving in the hearts of so many this week! ❤️‍🔥 Our annual Revival services were such a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the power of His presence. We are so thankful for every life touched and every heart changed!

Team Member Testimonial: Sam and Laura Frantz from Hickory Grove! 💙

“Laura and I had the great pleasure to serve with Forgotten Children Ministries in Honduras. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Sam & Ashley, Stan, the staff, and the children. The facilities and every part of our accommodations and activities were well maintained, very organized, and well planned.

We had a wonderful day with the children the day after we arrived, and the children’s smiles, laughter, and opportunity to take part was a highlight and great way to kick off our mission trip. Day 2 was an unexpected treat where we joined 10 local churches higher in the mountains celebrating National Bible Day (a national holiday). It was great to see Hondurans worship our Lord and Savior and carry signs with their favorite verses from God’s Word. During this service, my wife and I were befriended by Alice, a young girl from one of the churches, and we enjoyed helping each other flip through both English and Spanish Bibles when scriptures were referenced.

The next few days were our opportunity to help serve the local community. I was a worker helping to build two homes for separate families, and we had the pleasure to witness the handing over of keys, the home dedication, and seeing all that the Lord had provided. Laura had the pleasure of joining the other half of the mission team serving the community through food distribution, relationship building and sharing the love of Jesus.

Other highlights were attending the children’s art show, where they displayed and sold their art that further supported the ministry. We now have a piece of art to hang on our walls that will provide my wife and me with a long-lasting memory of the experience. I had the pleasure of attending music class with 8 students, and the training was instructed by the local pastor who had a daily presence with the children. With electric guitars, keyboards, drums and other percussion instruments it was quite the jam session.

We enjoyed being a part of Forgotten Children Ministries and appreciate all that Sam & Ashley, Stan and the staff do for the children and the mission teams each day.”

Team Member Testimony: Morgan Green from the Young Professionals Team!

“Going on my first trip with FCM was an experience that has changed my perspective on life. I’ve been to Honduras before, and every time I come back, I feel like the Lord shifts the way I see things. Encountering people who may not know where their next meal is coming from, yet still praising Jesus, worshiping Him, and sharing their testimonies, makes me realize how easily I can take things for granted. Their lives shine a light on what it really means to trust the Lord.

One thing that stood out to me was how open and welcoming the people are. They invited us into their homes, shared what they have, and welcomed us like family. Even something as simple as rice and beans is received with so much gratitude.

The kids at FCM impacted me so much. Seeing how full of joy they are, regardless of what they may have experienced, was incredible. Their joy is genuine, and Jesus truly shines through those kids.

Hearing how the Lord has worked through Stan’s life showed me that God’s plan is so much bigger and better than anything we could plan for ourselves. It challenged me to trust Him more deeply and allow Him to guide me, even when I don’t understand where He is leading.

Sam and Ashley showed me what it looks like to love like Jesus. They love everyone as their own, and they love those kids as if they were their own. Watching the way they care for them made me understand that FCM isn’t just a place—it’s a family.

That’s what impacted me most. FCM feels like one big family, with so much love, joy, generosity, and faith. Through all of it, Jesus is at the center.

Coming home from Honduras always changes something in me. FCM reminded me to trust Him, to selflessly love others, and let His light shine through me. Most of all, it reminded me that the most important thing in this life is Jesus.

I’m so grateful I got to experience FCM, serve the people of Honduras, love on those kids, and witness the Lord working in such a beautiful way.”

We have back-to-back weeks of construction teams this month, and we’re so thankful for these teams using the gifts God has given them to serve families we know and love. What a gift to be able to come alongside these families and help provide a safe, comfortable place to call home. 💙
