Members of the BBF leadership are attending the National Conference of Bar Foundations Annual Meeting Nat. Conf. of Bar Foundations hosted by the Alabama Law Foundation Alabama Law Foundation in Montgomery, AL. Bar Foundations from around the country met to talk about how we can best make a difference in our communities supporting programs, education and access to justice.

The BBF is so proud of our 2010 Past-President Leslie Barineau for receiving the much-deserved Nat. Conf. of Bar Foundations Excellence Award for her dedication and service to the National Conference of Bar Foundations.

Locally, Leslie was integral in establishing the BBF Fellows Program in 2011, which has raised over $350,000 for an endowment that will perpetually award grants in the Birmingham Community for years to come. A program in which she still chairs today.

The BBF, BBA, and MCBA are teaming up for our annual School Supply Drive — and we're almost to the finish line! So far we've raised $5,300, and we're aiming to beat last year's record of $8,500.
