Crime Stoppers' mission is to make our communities safer by offering cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve felony crimes and apprehend persons wanted on warrants charging them with felony crimes. We are a non-profit organization, managed by citizens from the communities we serve. We solicit anonymous tips that could help solve a crime or locate a person wanted for felony criminal charges
. We do not have Caller ID; tips submitted online or by text do not contain any identification information about the sender. We won't ask you for any identification information when you call or submit a tip. In a manner that assures the anonymity of the tipster, we forward the crime tips to the relevant investigative agency. We have no part in the investigation or prosecution of the criminal cases that result from the tips we receive. We simply request the investigator or relevant agency advise us if the tip helped to successfully solve a crime or locate a wanted person. Each month we present the previous month's successful tips to our Board of Directors, citizens from our communities who manage our program, for approval of cash rewards. Rewards awarded are not arbitrary, but factors such as the severity and number of criminal offenses involved are considered. Unsolved cases and wanted persons are featured on many venues, Crime Stoppers segments on TV networks, radio, printed and online news outlets, and here on our page. Anyone with any information about a crime or a wanted criminal, must call or submit that information directly to CRIME STOPPERS to be handled anonymously and have the potential to receive a cash reward. We appreciate all of you who are invested in the safety and well-being of your community. We encourage you to join us in the fight against crime, but do so safely and contact us directly when you have a tip to share.
