FALL FLOWERS FOR FURBABIES IS BACK!

Yep, it’s that time again! Our annual Fall Flowers for Furbabies fundraiser is back, and we’re ready to cover Birmingham in mums. 😂

We’re selling 10" potted mums for $20 in red, yellow, and orange.

And the best part? Your mum money helps both Have A Heart Animal Rescue & Adoption AND Sugarbelle Foundation, with the funds split equally between the two organizations.

So you get a pretty mum, and we get to keep helping animals. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

🖤🐈‍⬛ **Happy National Black Cat Day from our sweet Damon!** 🐈‍⬛🖤

We couldn't let today pass without showing off one of our handsome **Vampire Diaries babies!**

Damon is a playful, adventurous, friendly little guy who is still waiting for his FURever family. He does well with children and other cats, and after all the playing and kitten shenanigans are finished, he's an absolute sweetheart. 🖤

And of course, we can't forget one of our favorite things about him... **that adorable curly tail!** 😍

Black cats can sometimes get overlooked, so today we're asking everyone to give Damon a little extra love.

🧛 The Vampire Diaries Litter is Ready for Adoption! 🐾

You've seen these adorable faces before, but now it's time for their official introduction as adoptable kittens!

Meet Klaus, Stefan, Damon, and Elena, four sweet siblings who are now approximately 4 months old and officially looking for their FURever homes. ❤️

These four are everything you could want in a kitten. They're playful, affectionate, curious, and incredibly quick to purr. Whether they're chasing each other across the room, playing with toys, or curling up for a nap, they always manage to keep us smiling.

One of the cutest things about this litter doesn't even show up well in pictures. Every one of them has an adorable curly tail!

🐾 Klaus, (Tabby/White, has white spot on back, & brown markings on front left leg) the biggest of the bunch, has the loosest curl.

🐾 Stefan's tail curls a little tighter, and his sweet face has a bit of sadness to it with his markings, makes him always looks like he's hoping for an extra cuddle.

🐾 Damon (Black) has of the curliest tail of the 3 boys and a personality to match.

🐾 Elena, (Gray) our gorgeous long-haired girl, also has a beautifully curled tail. If it weren't for those signature tails, you might not guess she and Damon are siblings to Klaus and Stefan!

All four kittens are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations and will be spayed and neutered soon.

Because they're young, active kittens, we'd love to see them adopted in pairs whenever possible. If you're only adopting one, we strongly recommend they have a young feline friend waiting at home. Kittens thrive with companionship, and having a buddy helps them learn, play, and grow into well-adjusted adult cats.

Over the next few days, we'll be introducing each of them individually so you can get to know their unique personalities a little better. We have a feeling you're going to fall in love. ❤️

🏃‍♂️💨 Someone's got the zoomies!

Stefan is showing off his favorite pastime... running on the exercise wheel! Safe to say this little guy has energy to spare. 😹

Stefan and his siblings from our Vampire Diaries litter are now around 3 months old and are all still looking for their FURever homes. They're playful, affectionate, and have been raised with so much love. We may be a little biased, but we think they're pretty amazing. ❤️

If you've been thinking about adding a kitten to your family, we'd love for you to consider one of our babies!

💛 We also need your help. As a very small rescue, we're struggling to catch up on our veterinary bills. Between caring for our current kittens and paying down debt from boarding dogs a while back, we're feeling the strain. Any financial donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue saying "yes" to animals in need.

Meet Tessa! This extremely sweet and playful little girl is officially searching for her fur-ever home! 🐾 Tessa has beautiful markings and will stay on the smaller side.

She may be a little reserved at first and need a short time to warm up to you. But once she trusts you (it doesn’t take long), her loving personality truly shines. She’s incredibly sweet, loves to play, and enjoys being close to her people.

This girl is crate trained and smart as can be! She knows how to sit, shake, lay down. And is continuing to learn new tricks every day. With a little patience at the beginning and a loving family she’ll make someone the most wonderful and loyal companion.

She is curious about cats, bumping noses through a pet gate but hasn’t officially been tested with them but she really loves to play with other dogs.

She’s fully vaccinated and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She will be spayed soon.

If you’re looking for a gentle, extremely smart and loving pup to grow with and cherish, she could be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️🐶

🐾 Oliver Update 🐾

Our foster mom recently noticed something that has us a little concerned about Oliver. As you'll see in this video, we're starting to suspect that he may be deaf.

At the moment, Oliver is still available for adoption, but we may temporarily pause applications while we get some answers and determine what, if any, additional care or accommodations he may need. We want to make sure we're setting both Oliver and his future family up for success.

The good news is that being deaf doesn't stop cats from living amazing, happy lives. It just means we may have a few more vet visits and evaluations ahead of us to better understand his needs.

As with everything rescue-related, those answers come with costs. We know everyone is being asked to donate these days, but as many of you know, we're a very small rescue with limited resources. Any financial support helps us continue caring for Oliver, cover vet expenses, and provide food and medical care for the many other cats and kittens currently in our care.

If you'd like to help, donations are always appreciated. And if you can't donate, sharing our posts helps more than you know. ❤️

Stay tuned for updates on our sweet boy as we learn more. We are hopeful that this is just another small chapter in his story and that we'll soon have a better understanding of what he needs.
