🚨 Update from one of our fosters… NEW KITTEN ALERT! 🐾🍼

This tiny litter of 4 was rescued after their momma dumped them, leaving them vulnerable while dogs were trying to make them snacks. Thankfully, they were found in time and are now safe with one of our amazing fosters.

Since spooky season is never too far away in rescue world, the babies have officially been named after The Vampire Diaries! 🖤🧛

Our foster families stay busy around the clock caring for babies like these, and we’re so grateful for the love and dedication they pour into every little life that comes through our rescue.

We can’t believe it’s been 18 years since this litter came into my life. I’ll never forget that biscuit in the photo. And deciding to pull these kitties... And Stella is the only one left from this litter. She still love carbs. And if I would let her, she would steal my biscuits or anything bread related from me if i wasn’t careful

Eighteen years… can you believe it?
In honor of our very first rescued litter, 18 years ago, and in honor of Stella and in memory of my loves Captain, Sophie, Lulu and Slinky… and all the others, we are raising funds to help cover some of our existing vet bills from several of our rescued kitties. And to have funds be able to rescue more from shelters this spring. In addition to help us pay off the rest of our $1600 bill for the three dogs we still are paying for the boarding for.

This past Saturday evening, we took in five one-day-old kittens from Blount County Animal Services, and our amazing bottle feeder stepped right up to care for them.

We have four little white babies and one tabby, and at this point we’re still unsure of their genders. They may be tiny, but they are already stealing hearts.

Caring for newborns like this is no small task. It means round-the-clock feedings, sleepless nights, and a whole lot of love and dedication.

Here’s a little sneak peek of their very first moments settling in at home. 🐾💕

How is Toby still waiting for his FURever home?

This fluffy, chatty boy loves snuggles, attention, and being brushed. His foster family has learned that Toby would do best as the only cat in the home, or with a very laid-back kitty who respects his space. He’s a bit of an independent gentleman who prefers friendship on his own terms.
