Meet Kennedy Kelly, a dynamic and dedicated member of the Jimmie Hale Mission Young Professionals Board, now in her second year of service and serves as our Treasurer. Having also lived in Birmingham for two years, Kennedy quickly embraced the city's vibrant community, finding meaningful ways to get involved from the moment she arrived.
Kennedy, a proud graduate of Georgia Southern University, now thrives in her career as a Realtor. Her journey with the Jimmie Hale Mission began within her first month in Birmingham. Eager to meet people and make a difference, she connected with our current YP President, Tika, who introduced her to the mission. The organization's commitment to helping the homeless deeply resonated with Kennedy, aligning perfectly with her values. The opportunity to join the YP Board offered her a way to engage with like-minded young professionals while giving back to the community.
Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Kennedy is a self-proclaimed gym rat who enjoys exploring different ways to stay active. She's always on the hunt for new classes at the YMCA, whether it's mastering a yoga flow or sweating it out in a high-energy Zumba session. For Kennedy, staying active is an adventure, and she's always up for a new challenge.
Kennedy's enthusiasm, commitment to service, and love for her community make her a valued member of the YP Board, and we are grateful to have her as part of the Jimmie Hale Mission family!
