Network Birmingham

Network Birmingham For more than 25 years, Network Birmingham educated, informed, and encouraged women in the business world. Network Birmingham, Inc.

The organization closed several years ago but we are maintaining this page as an archive. was founded in 1985 by Shirley Guinn to promote communication among career-oriented women. At that time, Network Birmingham was affiliated with NAFE, the National Association of Females Executives. Those were the "glass ceiling days," and the charter members of Network Birmingham were rising stars who poured

heart and soul into building a powerful group of women who could help other women break that glass ceiling into management and entrepreneurial ventures. In its first year, Network Birmingham was named one of NAFE's most outstanding new chapters in the nation.
