The person who I'm starting a fundraiser for is Hy-Ayramii Daniel known as Hy by family and friends. While growing up, Hy struggled with chronic asthma. Although she had asthma she lived her life to the fullest. She didn't let asthma control her doing activities that she loved; such as singing in her church choir, a member of the praise team, and love love loved being a member of the Minor High Sc
hool Band in Adamsville, Al as a color guard. Hy was a positive, kindhearted, caring, loving, and outgoing young lady. Whenever Hy entered a room she made it bright with her beautiful smile. Hy loved God, church, family, and friends. She had the biggest heart anyone could wish for. She gave herself until the end , as an organ donor. Our friendship started 15 years ago. To me she was my sister I always wanted. On November 2, 2016 she lost her battle. So in memory of Hy we will start a fundraiser called: Hy Daniel Asthma Awareness. We are raising money to have our 1st 5k walk in May 2017 date TBA. My goal is to raise money to help others with medications, machines such as a nebulizer, and etc. So in honor of Hy we will have a run/walk 5k race every year.
