Our new Capital Readiness program isn’t just about the pitch, the numbers, or the deck. It’s about relationships.
Last week, we brought founders, investors, angels, VCs, and members of Birmingham’s startup community around the same table for an intimate dinner centered on conversation and connection. No stage. No rapid-fire pitches. Just the opportunity to get to know one another, share stories, ask questions, and start building relationships that can grow over time.
That’s an important part of what we want this Capital Readiness Program to create: not just founders who are better prepared to raise, but a stronger community around them. The kind where a conversation over dinner can become an introduction, a mentor, an advocate, an investment, or simply a relationship that matters years from now.
This was one evening, but we hope the connections made around the table continue long after the program ends.
