A Message from Lama Deshek:

During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Lama Deshek would like Losel Maitri followers to know that he is safe and well, and undertaking a traditional retreat related to the virus. On the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, he has completed a White Tara retreat to alleviate the suffering of coronavirus victims, and is currently engaged in a Vajrasattva purification retreat, which is dedicated to reducing the global karma that led to the pandemic.

As Lama Deshek has suggested, in order to overcome this disease, everyone should recite the White Tara mantra as much as you can. You can follow the text in his YouTube video — https://youtu.be/o-UOcit5j68— as well as the Medicine Buddha mantra. Texts can be found by clicking Learn More.

Lama Deshek asks his Dharma brothers and sisters to continue practicing loving kindness and compassion, and to fight our common enemy, the coronavirus, by following the advice of our doctors and nurses.
