From dodgeball and pickleball to bowling and beyond, Team Glenwood had a great time participating in this year’s Birmingham Corporate Challenge.

These events provided an opportunity to connect with colleagues, build team spirit, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Thank you to all of our employees who participated throughout the competition. We’re proud to have you on our team! 💚

Today, we welcomed volunteers from United Way of Central Alabama as part of their annual Day of Action. 💙💚

Their team organized, sorted, and prepared books for our new Kindergarten library, and helped set up the library at Harper Chapel by moving furniture and creating a welcoming space for learning and connection.

Thank you, UWCA, for making a meaningful impact at Glenwood.

Our ABA Research and Training Advisor, Mary-Kate Carey, will be co-presenting at the upcoming BehaviorLive conference.

Her presentation explores closing the research-to-practice gap in ABA, with a focus on practitioner-led research, ethics, and the development of Research Review Committees (RRCs) to support practice-based inquiry.

Thank you, Mary-Kate, for your leadership and contributions to continuing education and growth in the field.

Become an advocate!

Alabama ranks 49th in the nation for autism therapy reimbursement, and rates haven’t increased in more than five years. Providers serving Medicaid families are now operating at a loss, while 1 in 31 Alabama children is diagnosed with autism.

It only takes a couple of minutes to contact your legislator and ask them to support increased Medicaid reimbursement for ABA therapy.
