MeetUp for Change

MeetUp for Change MeetUP for Change exists to perform random acts of volunteerism and to bring love and support to communities and people in crisis.

MeetUP for Change energizes and engages grass root volunteers to affect change by taking pride in our community and ownership of the issues impacting it. Through our Random Acts of Volunteerism and LIP Life Is Precious initiatives, we also support communities in crisis, whether as a result of a natural disaster or a communal tragedy.

Here is a link to the very special memorial service that was held for him in Birmingham. Learn why even in his darkest hour Brian believe that LIP Life is indeed precious.

Brian Grodner was an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. In addition to his wife, Linda, and daughters Ellen, Gia and Kayla, his faith was a guiding force as he battled cancer over the past four years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Brian's memory be made to MeetUp for Change's "Life Is Precious" Initiative for which Brian and his positive attitude were the impetus earlier this year. Donations will be used to establish the "Brian Grodner Lifelong Learning Fund" to advance the importance of faith in dealing with a life-threatening disease.
