Dan Aykroyd is officially attached to Netflix’s upcoming Ghostbusters animated series as executive producer.

Alongside the confirmation, Sony Pictures Animation and Ghost Corps have also reaffirmed a targeted 2027 release window ahead of this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival presentation.

We're saddened to report that actress Jennifer Runyon has passed away at the age of 65.

In Ghostbusters, Runyon appeared as the female student participating in Dr. Peter Venkman’s ESP test, with other notable credits including Charles in Charge, Up the Creek, and A Very Brady Christmas.
