Chosen Angels Inc is excited to once again serve the Greater Birmingham & Jefferson County community by helping students and families prepare for the upcoming August 2026 school year with confidence, care, and support. Join us for an amazing day filled with free services, entertainment, food, and fun for all ages!

We are grateful for every barber, braider, loctician, and stylist serving our youth with excellence. Your time, talent, and willingness to give back are helping our children walk into the school year feeling confident, encouraged, and ready to succeed.

🗓️LIHEAP appointments open Tuesday, June 2nd, at 8:00 AM, our appointment scheduler will officially open for ALL low-income households who qualify for LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program). Please note that this is for the COOLING season.

To provide you with the fastest service possible, please refrain from calling our main office number for appointments. We have established a designated hotline and online portal specifically for scheduling to keep our main lines clear for other community services. 🤝

To ensure we can process your application smoothly during your visit, please bring the following original documents:
✅️Social Security Cards: Original cards for everyone in the household.
✅️Photo ID: Current Alabama Picture ID for the head of household and spouse.
✅️Proof of Income: Gross income for the previous month for everyone in the home (Check stubs, Social Security, pensions, etc. Please note: we cannot accept bank statements).
✅️Housing Info: Your lease or voucher if you live in Public Housing or Section 8.
✅️Your Heating Bill: A copy of your most recent bill for your primary cooling source.

📚Chosen Angels Inc is currently seeking 2 high school girl volunteers to assist during our Back To School Champions Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Midfield Recreation Center from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

This is more than volunteering — it’s an opportunity to support younger students, build leadership skills, earn community service hours, and be a part of meaningful impact throughout Greater Birmingham & Jefferson County.
