Pray for our missionaries of the week, Tyler and Hannah Trusley.

Tyler and Hannah planted Cross Church El Mirage in a diverse Arizona community made up of people from all ethnicities, economic backgrounds, and life experiences. “It’s a super rewarding ministry,” Tyler said, “and reminds us of the diversity we’ll see in heaven.”

They launched the church in a building where another church had previously closed. Since then, God has blessed their work. Now they’re exploring ways to expand—whether through additional services, planting new churches, or raising up more leaders.

Tyler shared a powerful story of one young man who connected with the church after military service. He was discipled, got married at the church, baptized his wife, and is now preparing for ministry through the church’s residency program. “It’s a reminder that God can do things that seem wild or impossible on a daily basis,” Tyler added.

PRAY God would continue opening doors to connections and ministry opportunities in El Mirage.

Today we look at 1 John 4:9–11.

As our Love of Christ Scripture series nears its end, take time to reflect and study not just these few verses but all of 1 John 4:7–21, which reveals so much about God, His love, and the love expected of us as His followers.

Connie Dixon completed her term as national WMU President this week, and we’re grateful for the way she has faithfully encouraged women and girls to love missions, live on mission, and disciple others for Christ.

Throughout years of leadership and service, Connie has consistently pointed others toward the importance of discipleship and engaging in God’s mission. Her encouragement and faithfulness have helped shape generations of women who are now pouring into others as well.

Who is someone God used to encourage your heart for missions or discipleship? We’d love for you to honor them in the comments below.
