A note from our Director:

After 16 years with Birmingham AIDS Outreach, it’s time for me to say goodbye. My time at the Magic City Acceptance Center has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

As I take time to reflect on these years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the passionate, resilient, and loving people who have made this journey so meaningful. To everyone who’s been part of this work: thank you. Together, we’ve built something extraordinary, a space where authenticity, compassion, and community thrive.

As I step away, I leave this work with the amazing MCAC team: Imani, Isaiah, and MG, whose heart, care, and commitment continue to make this space the special place it is.

The MCAC crew had a dazzling time at the Mkc Birmingham Bal Masque XV: Diamonds 💎

We're deeply grateful to the captains, royalty, and members of MKC who poured their time and energy into this bal, which raised over $21,000 for the work we do here at MCAC!

In a time when futures feel uncertain, we're leaning into joy as resistance. Our community will continue to shine, like the diamonds of last night. You will never dull our sparkle.
