As the Founder and Executive Director of Khairi and Little Angels' Memorial, I am deeply humbled and inspired by the profound privilege of serving women and families during some of the most significant moments of their lives. It is a calling that brings me immense joy, purpose, and fulfillment.
Many of the women I meet may only cross my path once, but their families and I will forever be connected through a shared journey of hope, healing and resilience.
Witnessing the radiant smiles on the faces of these women and their loved ones is truly a breathtaking experience that fuels my passion for this work.
Twelve years ago, when God called Khairi home, my life was on the line as well. Yet God had a greater purpose in store for me. He provided me with a calling and an assignment that I could have never imagined for myself. Through my relationship with Jesus Christ, I learned that my pain was not the end of my story. What once felt like the darkest season of my life became the foundation for a purpose far greater than I could have ever envisioned.
As I reflect on my journey, I am in awe of the incredible progress He has made in my life and the ways He continues to work through me. Each day, I am inspired more and more by how He works in mysterious ways. The positive change I have witnessed in the lives of others reminds me that I could not do any of this without Him.
It is both humbling and inspiring to know that I am being used as a vessel to fulfill God's divine purpose on earth, bringing hope, healing and support to families in need. Just thinking, me... someone who once could not imagine life after losing Khairi.
However, I am here, and now I understand why God gave me such a big heart and a deep love for people. I needed it for the assignment He entrusted to me. Without that love, I could not serve families, support mothers, or walk alongside others the way I do through Khairi and Little Angels' Memorial.
I have always enjoyed bringing smiles to people's faces, but through this journey, I have been blessed with the opportunity to bring healing to hearts as well. There is no greater feeling in the world, second only to my love for my Heavenly Father.
My story is a testament to the power of faith, love and trust in God. It is a reminder that even in our most painful moments, purpose can still be found. I am grateful that God saw fit to allow me to live, not only to survive my own loss, but to help others find hope, healing and strength along their journey as well.
