We are excited to share with you a new organization called Just Sing Birmingham and would love for you to be a part of this movement! Just Sing Birmingham was founded out of a desire to create a community of group singing where no experience is necessary and all ages and all people are welcome. The positive impacts of choral singing on mental, social and physical health and well-being cannot be understated and is something we all need now more than ever!

Our first event is this Sunday, May 17 from 1:30-3:00 PM at Mabel’s on 3rd (3120 3rd Avenue S, next to the Magic City Acceptance Center.) Special guests include a bluegrass band and Girls Rock mentor Julia Gale who will lead us in singing folk songs of resilience, resistance and hope. Songs are simple and taught by ear so that music reading is not an obstacle. If you would like to share a song with us or lead a song, we’d love to have you join the team!

For more details about this and other events, join our GroupMe for Just Sing Birmingham, which you can access here: https://groupme.com/join_group/113579097/rL10fPOt

We look forward to making beautiful music with you!
