SPARC SPARC (Supportive & Palliative Advocacy Resource for the Community)

Advancing Patient Navigation & Enhancing Community Engagement

SPARC is a community resource made possible by the Women’s Breast Health Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham. The SPARC Program trains navigators and community members providing support for breast cancer survivors. SPARC equips patient navigators and community members with tools and resources. We help enhance how a navigator maneuvers in their healthcare system. Navigators also

learn how to identify and overcome barriers faced by their patients. SPARC leads the way in defining and standardizing the curriculum for cancer navigation and support in the Southeastern United States!
