What a way to kick off a new school year! 🙌

Our Volunteer Kickoff brought together an incredible group of people who are ready to serve, encourage, and invest in students throughout this school year. We are so thankful for every volunteer who showed up ready to learn, connect, and be part of what’s ahead at Empowered to Conquer.

As we prepare to launch Limitless Programs for the 2026–2027 school year, we’re reminded that this work is possible because of a community that continues to show up. 💙

To our volunteers, THANK YOU! Your time, your heart, and your willingness to serve make a difference.

Now, we’re ready to get back into our schools, reconnect with students, and see what this year has in store! 🚀

⛪️ Faith Alliance Partner Spotlight: Faith Presbyterian Church

Today, we’re grateful to celebrate Faith Presbyterian Church and the many ways they have faithfully come alongside Empowered to Conquer over the years! 💙

Their heart for missions is evident not only in what they give, but in how they care. Faith Presbyterian has been intentional about building a genuine relationship with ETC, staying connected with our team, paying attention to our needs, and continually finding creative ways to support our mission and invite more of their church community to be involved.

We are especially thankful for Robert Atherton, Johnny Johnson, and Haley Simms, whose continued support, encouragement, and care have helped make this partnership so meaningful to our team.

Over the years, Faith Presbyterian has:

What an incredible way to welcome our students back! Our Back-to-School Celebrations were filled with excitement, connection, and a whole lot of love from our community. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to every volunteer, supporter, and community member who helped make these celebrations possible!

It takes a community coming together to remind students that they are supported, believed in, and surrounded by people who want to see them succeed. We are so grateful for everyone who continues to come alongside Empowered to Conquer and invest in the next generation.

As students step into this new school year, we’re praying for a year filled with growth, wisdom, meaningful relationships, new opportunities, and God’s guidance every step of the way. 🙏🏽

📊 USE YOUR DATA SKILLS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

We’re still looking for a Volunteer Data Coordinator to join us for a short-term opportunity at Empowered to Conquer!

The numbers and information we collect help us understand something much bigger: the impact we’re making in the lives of students. And we’re looking for someone who can help us tell that story well.

In this role, you’ll help strengthen surveys, organize program data, and evaluate the impact of our programs, giving our team better insight into how we can continue growing and serving students well.

⏰ 10 hours/week for 2–4 weeks
📍 Combination of in-office & on-site collaboration

Your skills can help us better understand our impact and ultimately help us serve students even better.

⛪️ FAITH ALLIANCE PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: A2 CHURCH

Partnership is more than saying you believe in a mission: it’s choosing to show up, serve, and walk alongside it. And that is exactly what A2 Church has done for Empowered to Conquer over the years. ❤️

From opening their doors to host our 15th Anniversary Gala and Empower the Future event in 2024, to participating in our Faith Alliance Church Tour, attending our Annual Night of Vision, and continually finding ways to support our students and mission, A2 Church has been such a faithful partner to ETC.

Their partnership has also extended far beyond events. Members of A2 Church have generously given their time by serving as Final Presentation Judges and volunteering alongside our students throughout the years.

And this year, we’ve been especially grateful for Youth Pastor Willie Vandiver, who served students at Limitless Mentor Outing, Limitless Retreat 2026 and continued investing in them as a Discipleship Group Leader. 🙌

These are the kinds of partnerships that remind us what can happen when the local church comes alongside the next generation with consistency, generosity, and a heart to serve.

🎉 Congratulations, Adrianna! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Adrianna Walker, this year's Vanessa Leonard & Limitless Scholarship recipient!

As she receives her scholarship and prepares to begin this exciting new chapter at the University of Montevallo, we are celebrating all of her hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Adrianna will be pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy, and we can't wait to see all that God has in store for her.

Watching our students step confidently into their future is why we do what we do. Congratulations, Adrianna! Your ETC family is cheering you on every step of the way. 💜
