🎉 A New Home, A Beautiful New Chapter! ⛪️

Congratulations to our Faith Alliance partner, Church at Ross Bridge, on celebrating their very first Sunday service in their new church home yesterday! 🙌

What a blessing it was to witness such a special milestone! From the beautiful new space to seeing the entire congregation gathered together under one roof, it was truly a sight to see.

We couldn't be more excited for our friends at Church at Ross Bridge and all that God has in store for this new season of ministry! We're celebrating alongside you and praying that this new church home will be a place where lives are transformed, faith is strengthened, and generations are impacted for years to come!

Romans 12:5 reminds us that though we are many, we are one body in Christ, and each member belongs to all the others. That same picture of community is at the heart of what we do at Empowered to Conquer, every person has a place, and every piece matters.

🙏 Will You Join Us in Prayer?

As we prepare for Empowered to Conquer's Annual Night of Vision 2026, we believe there is no better way to prepare than by coming together in prayer!

We invite our Faith Alliance pastors, ministry partners, and supporters to join us for a special time of prayer as we lift up the upcoming event, every guest who will walk through the doors, and the lives God will continue to impact through this ministry.

In observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the Empowered to Conquer office will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026.

As we take this time to pause, we are reminded of the importance of valuing every community and continuing to build meaningful relationships with those around us.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our students, families, and community each day! Our office will reopen on Tuesday, October 13. Wishing everyone a safe and restful holiday!

💜 Mentoring Goes Beyond the Classroom!

At Empowered to Conquer, we believe mentorship is about more than the time we spend with students at school. It’s about building meaningful relationships, creating lasting memories, and showing students the beauty of faith, fellowship, and community!

This Wednesday, October 14, our Woodlawn High School students will step outside the classroom for a Limitless Mentoring Outing!The evening will include a fun activity, dinner together, and a visit to Church of the Highlands – Woodlawn Campus for Student Night! One of the greatest blessings of these outings is the opportunity to connect students with our Faith Alliance church partners.

These outings are more than just a fun evening. They're opportunities for students to experience community, build friendships, and discover places where they can continue growing in their faith and relationships beyond our programs.Because mentorship doesn't end when the school bell rings!

Everyone has a reason to serve.

Our volunteers bring their own gifts, experiences, and "why” to Empowered to Conquer and together, they help us develop faith, promote education, and build relationships with students.

🎉 Today marks ONE YEAR!

One year ago today, Ashley, our Limitless Program Coordinator, and Esther, our Operations Coordinator, joined the Empowered to Conquer team!

And what a year it has been. 💜

From classrooms and student relationships to retreats, events, volunteers, partnerships, planning, and all the details in between, this past year has been filled with growth, new opportunities, plenty of learning, and countless moments that remind us why this mission matters.

Ashley has helped bring our Limitless programs to life by walking alongside students, educators, and volunteers and creating spaces where relationships can grow.

Esther has helped keep the many moving pieces behind ETC connected from volunteers and events to communications, systems, and day-to-day operations that help make the mission possible.

We’re grateful for everything this first year has held and excited for all that is still ahead.

🌟 Faith Alliance Spotlight: The Church at Brook Hills

We’re grateful for the continued partnership and encouragement of The Church at Brook Hills!

Earlier this year, their team joined us for our inaugural Conquer the Course Golf Classic, and their support has continued through prayer, encouragement, and enthusiastic volunteers who have come alongside the mission of Empowered to Conquer.

We’re especially thankful for Keith Stanley and the kindness he has extended to our organization in helping strengthen this connection. Partnerships like these remind us of the gift of having churches in our corner who genuinely care about our students and the work God is doing through ETC.

Right now, The Church at Brook Hills is in a special season of prayer, and tomorrow they’ll conclude their 10 Days of Prayer with a churchwide Prayer and Worship Gathering at 6:30 PM. We invite our ETC community to join them as they gather to pray and worship together!

Thank you, Brook Hills, for continuing to pray, serve, and walk alongside us!
