A transformative $10 million gift from the Gorrie family will help UAB expand Alzheimer’s disease research, patient care, education and community outreach across Alabama.

The newly named Frances Gorrie Alzheimer’s Disease Center will support groundbreaking clinical trials, train the next generation of specialists, and connect more families with the care and resources they need.

More than 103,000 Alabamians are living with Alzheimer’s disease today, and that number is expected to grow in the decades ahead.

Together, we're building hope for patients, caregivers and future generations.
