You are invited to a town hall in Birmingham focused on the aftermath of the recent redistricting that took place in Alabama.

Our partners at Alabama Forward are helping to put together the event, taking place Thursday at the Carver Theatre for the Performing Arts in Birmingham. GBM's Executive Director, Scott Douglas, will be speaking.

This town hall is primarily hosted by plaintiffs in the Allen v. Milligan redistricting case. The event will feature grassroots organizations and community members coming together to understand what happened and what we do next.

We had two buses leave from our site this morning to the National Day of Action for Voting Rights in Montgomery. People from all over the country descended on Montgomery as a rallying call to action to vote like our lives depend on it, because it does.
