We’re thrilled to announce that Ms. Katiana Banks has re-signed with Regenerate Society, Inc. to continue serving as Business Impact Developer! 💼

Since joining us officially in 2025, Katiana has taken the same energy that won her Volunteer of the Year and amplified our entire organization! Making history in her first season as the Business division’s first ever divisional lead, she found new ways to continue impacting those around her-earning her the honor of Rookie of the Year. In her return, she looks to elevate the opportunities for youth in the Birmingham community to learn and develop true their entrepreneurial spirits!

We are overjoyed to have her return and help make the 2027 indeed our biggest yet! Be on the lookout next for more updates about the Business division’s plan for this upcoming season. ♻️

We’re thrilled to welcome Raiya Goodman as our first-ever Director of Activism and Advocacy! ✊🏾

Coming to us from Houston, Texas, Raiya planted roots here in Birmingham home after graduating from UAB with a degree in Musical Theatre and Global and Community Leadership After graduating, Raiya joined our roster team through the 2024 Training Camp class and was named Captain of the Activism division in only her second season. Raiya has an impressive background in community outreach, service, and organizational leadership that we believe will greatly enhance our Activism Division.  Raiya will lead our Activism Division in educating Birmingham the youth on how to bring effective change in underserved community through human rights.

We’re excited to see her vision and leadership at work as she helps shape the future of RS. For more information on about her, visit the News Section at thisisrsociety.org! ♻️

September 2017: Starting from scratch! ✍🏾

Around this time 9 years ago we were prepping for our first season as an official team as the Regenerate Society, Inc.

Just five creatives from the same university seeing a vision for tomorrow, and praying it comes to fruition as we grow along the way.

Who knew what would happen along the way as we launched into something that would change our lives, and those of so many others! ♻️

*PS: How many of you all remember when this location place had an ACTUAL fountain? Drop in the comments if you remember! 💭

629 Service Hours Later…

Nine was a season where we focused on retooling and reaffirming. We are so proud of our team for locking in and standing with each other to make this season one of the strongest we have ever had, both internally and for the public!

As we prepare for our 10th season, we look forward to what God has in store (and who) for us next in this milestone moment!

See you at the top for 10! 👀
