Prize2theFuture What's the NEXT BIG THING for Birmingham? You gave us more than 1,100 great ideas in our first Prize2theFuture idea contest.

Prize2theFuture was an international on-line competition seeking one great idea for transforming one city-owned block into something cool. Through this innovative crowd-sourcing and partnership. Phase 2 included an effort to find a developer for the site, in partnership with the City of Birmingham.

Prize site, here we come! The Community Foundation is now actively marketing the city-owned site to developers through Operation New Birmingham, as part of a continuing partnership with the City of Birmingham. Stay tuned for updates as the Requests go out to developers who want to be part of the next phase and build on the great ideas from Prize2theFuture idea contest.
